ok, something serious this time.
few years ago, I saw on World Press Photo exhibition a photo story about women's circumision ceremony in some African village. The "victim" was a very young, teenage girl. Circumision ritual was made by older women, who used old razor. After the circumision, they desinfected bleeding girl with goat's milk. On the last pic, that girl was sitting and crying... I was and I am still shocked with it. Daily DeviationGiven 2009-05-23"Circumcision by *Miss-Freak-of-Nature really struck me and disturbed me at the same time when I first saw it. The controversial and undoubtedly upsetting topic it depicts, is one that I would imagine to be difficult to portray. btw the word "thrilled" generally means excited in a good way(happy), heard you use it a few times and thought i should let u know. Was really confused when i saw that word in the description as it doesn't go well with this photo.
